{Shall we build an ark????}
Oh but no I am not complaining!
We need the rain...
the strawberries are forming their fruits...
rain means plump juicy berries!
The corn is planted and growing...
the trees, flowers, grass,
and wildlife all need the rain!
In our little town
down by the river
they have a walking path
that runs along the rivers edge!
walk in the rain!
Singing "rain drops keep falling on my head"...
The rain was gently falling,
we had the path to ourselves,
No one in sight,
not a care in the world!
We felt like kids again!
and putting our feet in the water!
Holding hands and walking in the rain......
I even got to search thru a patch of rocks
for a few heart shaped rocks!
~~That makes my heart sing~~

Lovely pictures and a lovely idea! We have been getting quite a lot of rain in my little corner of Texas lately. We are so grateful for it, too!
Love the photos and the pink toes are great!
You're an adventurous girl- I think that much water is kind of scary! I love the heart rocks- once you start looking for them, it's really amazing how many you can find!
Well I'll be...it's been raining here too!!! Nothing like a nice summer rain though. Love the pics. that sure looks fun..

What a lovely post, Dolly. I so enjoyed your little walk in the rain. I'm glad you took your camera, too. Thanks for sharing! You always make my day special with your wonderful insight.
How cute is the photo with your feet! Hope you found some good rocks. We have had WAY too much rain where I live. We're having trouble getting the crop in. Oh well, glad you got the rain you needed!

oooooh, i LOVE it when it rains and/or storms. your walk looks like so much fun - wish i was there... debbie =)
I appreciated your visit to Day Lily Lane. I live in Lake Orion and work with Kathy from Kathyscottage. I have visited you several times and always love your photos. I too love heart shaped things. I don't have many rocks, but I do have picture frames and lots of boxes. I especially like fancy boxes. Always have, don't know why I just do. It's nice to have Michiganders stop in to visit! Come over anytime! I hope to add more updates soon. Hugs Jan
