It was in the 80s... the sun was shinning, the birds singing!
Ahhhhhhhh.... I think spring is finally here to stay!
We spent all of saturday and all of sunday outside!
I cleaned some of the flower beds, picked up fallen branches, cleaned out my truck,
I am not a sun worshipper by any means ... it just felt good to have the sun on my face!
The girls enjoyed their time out and about the yard eatting bugs and fresh green grass!
They are my partners in crime..... When I am in the yard they are both right next to me!
They look alike but they have different personalities.....
Layla is voiceturous... she cackels all the time!
bawk bawk bawk bawk bawwwwk ....... Lil Miss Complainer!
Lola is the friendly one... she will let you hold her and pet her!
She's my lil lovebug!
You will meet Goosey in another post!
Until next time!
~~may the sun shine upon your face and you find joy in all that you do~~
Luv, Dolly

oops didn't mean to do that twice!
I got to your blog via Natasha's blog and I must say I enjoyed it so much. I am quite the collector of Jadeite myself, I really have way to much. Anyway, love your blog.
Dolly, where is Miss Goosey? Don't want her to get jealous!! Speaking of jealous...I'm soooo jealous that you won Natasha's faux treats! Not really, super treats for a super sweet friend ~ you deseve them!!
Hugs,
Stephanie
Hi, Dolly! I am so glad you "invited me over". My parents raised chickens when I was growing up and I still love to view pictures of them.
My kids always teased me about my "poultry fetish". :)
Hi Dolly! I posted your treats off today, you should get them in a week or so.
Thanks~! Natasha : )
Dolly,
What kind of chickens are those? They would have been a perfect date for my stray rooster! Same feathers! Thanks for sharing!
I love Layla and Lola. There's more to life than fabric! (sometimes)
Yay! I'm thrilled to have discovered your blog! Thanks for giving me directions! =) Your chicks are too cute. I'm glad to know that they're nice and sweet. I got my chicks purely to get over my irrational fear that any chicken I see wants to tear my face off. I think it's working!
OH a fellow chicken lover, we have 7 chickens 5 chinese silkies and two gorgeous black numbers with feathery feet. Mine are called Tilly and Milly and I think they must be realated! Pop on over to Lilly Cottage to have a look. See you next time, Linda Lilly Cottage.
Oh Dolly, I love em. That is just what I want. I love to watch them scratch around. It reminds me of when I was a girl. Thank you for sharing. Fresh eggs ahhh!! Kasse
