GirlFriends

When I was little, I used to believe in the concept of one best friend,
And then I started to become a woman.
And I found out that if you allow your heart to open up,
God would show you the best in many friends.

One friend is needed when you're going through things with your man.
Another friend is needed when you're going through things with your mom.
Another will sit beside you in the bleachers as you delight in your children and their activities.
Another when you want to shop, share, heal, hurt, joke, or just be you.
One friend will say, 'Let's cry together,'
Another , 'Let's fight together,'
Another , 'Let's walk away together.'

One friend will meet your spiritual needs, Another your magazine fetish, Another your love for cherries, Another will be with you in your season of confusion, Another will be your clarifier, Another the wind beneath your wings.

But whatever their assignment in your life, On whatever the occasion, On whatever the day, Or whenever you need them to meet you with their gym shoes on and hair pulled back, Or to hold you back from making a complete fool of yourself .. Those are your best friends.

It may all be wrapped up in one woman, But for many, it's wrapped up in several.. One from 7th grade, One from high school, Several from the college years, a couple from old jobs, On some days your mother, On some days your neighbor, On others, your sisters, And on some days, your daughters.

So whether they've been your friend for 20 minutes or 20 years,
Know that God has placed them in your life

To make a difference.

Thank you all for being here with me... sharing your lives, homes and families!
And thank you for making a difference in MY life!

Have a blessed day!
Hugz,
P.S. I know it's been forever since my last post!
Thank you for all the emails.... of concern and wondering where I am!
My life has been total chaos lately...
here it is in a nutshell...
We had storms and tornados...
Hubby had surgury, {all is well}
Our 4th grandbaby was born!
{we are going to meet Little Miss Madison Rae tomorrow}
Birthday parties, & graduations.
My 2 kitty girls had to get spayed
{ I wonder if it was as tramatic for them as it was for me}
We planned a big flea market for the 4th...
A LOT goes into getting that ready!
My mum called and said she was coming up to stay
{that means I clean the house from top to bottom, wash walls, windows, floors everything comes off the walls and out of every cabinet to be washed}
We spent 3 full days at the market...
Entertained mum.
Made 16 quarts of strawberry jam!
Oh theres lots more but you can see why I have not had time to even think about posting!
I do have alot to share with you....
* * Good stuff * *
Pictures of our new princess coming soon!
Please for give me if you are waiting on swap goodies....
I promise that is on the top of my list,
now that things look like they might be settling down a bit!

Ooooh, Miss Dolly, I thought of you monday when I was at an antique store and passed by a stall with "CHERRIES" fluff stuff!! I couldn't even begin to tell you what all that lady had. There may be some pix I haven't loaded yet on my blog of that stall. I've shown several on my blog this past week including my......squeeeeeeallll.....most precious find!!!!!! Oh, my sweet friend, it was so delightful. I still have pix to post on there, but we're still in Calif. visiting with kids and my laptop is soooo slow, but I'm struggling along. As you know I never ever go anywhere without my Mac or camera. Congrats on new grand baby and also, you didn't listen when I said: Don't clean before company/family comes cuz they'll never notice; clean after they leave - saves time on ya, my sweet cherry!!
Smoochies,
Connie
