5 things about me that you didn't know

I have been tagged by the Queen of PRH

Miss Connie @ Living Beautifully tagged me. {thank you sweetpea}
I am to answer 5 questions about myself and then tag 5 others.
So here goes:

1. What was I doing 10 years ago?
Oh geezzz...... I don't remember what I was doing 10 minutes ago!
Let me see.... in 1998 I was 10 years younger, 10 years healthier, we were living in an 1800s victorian farmhouse doing extensive renovations trying to bring it back to its original state, loving and sometimes hateing the house!
Our first winter we froze... you could actually see your breath in the house, there was no insulation so we had to wear 3 pairs of soxs, 3 shirts, long johns and jeans! The only way to get warm was to take a hot bath!
Oh and there was no shower just a claw foot tub!
{this was the hateing part.... we gave up a warm, totally finished 1970s brick ranch house with 3 showers, garbage disposal, central air, swimming pool,fireplace, etc.} To live in a house that was crumbling around us! Plaster falling, many of the windows missing, racoons living in the attic, creaky floors, peeling paint, water logged cellar, everyone who didn't appreciate the beauty of a historical home thought we had lost our minds!
{and I'd do it all over again if I could}
On top of all that we were helping raise our 1 year old grandson so his momma could finish her schooling and work to support them!

2. Five things on my "To Do" list:
{todays.... to do list}
Go to nursury to buy veggie plants
Plant my veggie garden
Finish the laundry
Finish and mail swap and etsy orders
Clean Miss Gooseys pond and clean around her pen!
{when I get time... to do list}
Get the rest of the porch furniture out
Paint porch furniture
Paint guest cottage
Open a boutique in the old barn at flea market
Renovate the old potting shed
Extend chicken coop and get more chickens!

3. Snacks I enjoy:
pretzels, popcorn,
pork rinds, {anything crunchy and salty}
plus grapes, strawberries and carrots

4. Things I would do if I were a millionaire:
Buy a big old victorian house to renovate!
{yep I'd do it again except this time I could afford to hire most of the work out}

Give to charities that are close to my heart!
Put my grandbabies thru collage!
Take care of my mum and mom in law!
Make sure hubby has everything he desires since he has worked so hard to provide for us all these years!

5. Five places I have lived:
Michigan
Michigan
Michigan
Michigan & oh yeah
Michigan

Okay, now I have to tag 5 people! I'm tagging
Glenda Lori Lynn Laura Cindy Rhondi

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
I have tons to do so I am not sure when I will be seeing you next

Green Acres Flea Market

Ok girls you asked for pictures from our flea market.....
Here are a few I took this past weekend!
Most of the other pictures I took were blurry!

It was very windy...... and hot!

These are the signs I painted.......
I am NOT a sign painter but these will do for now!

Don't you love this old gate!
I want to bring it home with me!

This old potting shed is on the property!
Hubby wanted to tear it down!

I said WAIT.....
I think we can fix it up and make it into a cute primitive building for someone that sells garden or primitive country items!

Some sellers set their things on the back of their truck and sell from there!

Some pictures from my booth! I love this cute lil nest box!

More of my cherry goodies!

Don't you think these vintage tins would be cute in our kitchen?

This lady does handmade jewelry!

She had some very pretty pieces!

Look toys for boys! Yes alot of guys stopped to look at these toys!

Ohhhh ..... Look at this drop leaf table? It came home with me! I told hubby I liked it and he surprised me and bought it! I have it in the frontroom... waiting to be painted!

The bead ladies booth was so colorful! Especially when the sun hit all the beads!

I almost bought this bean pot home with me! It intriques me! Is'nt it great? I just don't have any room for it! Would'nt it be a cute cookie jar, treat jar for pets, or to hide those medicine or vitamin bottles!

Paper Mache people! Very unique!

Misc stuff

Cute key chains and baubles

The Avon lady always has something you can't live without!

Like Great smelling lotions, bubble baths oh and pretty nail polish, bug guard and sun screen!

Disney memorabelia

Old glass Insulators!
I think I need some of these!
They would be cute with candles in them, hanging from a branch
or sitting in my window box in the winter time when its empty!

That concludes our flea market tour!
Ya'll come back now!
Hugz,
