Laundry room re-do

We just finished our laundry/mudroom re-do!
Come and take a peek
Here are a few before pictures

I taped off and painted the stripes a shade darker then the walls
{hubby said "I just want you to know I totally protest this"}
{He didn't want to get stuck helping me}
but he did! :-)

Remember this from my last post?
The old dresser drawer front!

Hubby added molding to the sides to cover the dove tail edges,
I painted it, shabbied it up a little bit, added 2 vintage glass door knobs, and cast iron hooks.
Now it is a great looking coat rack
I love it!

Cute little vignette....
the chippy vintage molding piece I purchased from Holly Abston awhile ago!
I added a glass knob and turned it into a hanger, love the chippy vintage frame and baby dress hanging from the drip dry hanger!

This door leads to the small guest bath!

sorry for the bad lighting...it was dark n rainy and I had to use the over head light!
The border was a last minute purchase from ebay!
I planned to use the same border I used in the front room {since they open to each other} but didn't have enough so I got on ebay searching for something to coordinate! I like it!

Got these jars from Wal-Mart.... attached vintage laundry pictures on the fronts to hold dryer sheets, powdered oxy and clothes pegs.
{click pic to enlarge}

There are 3 doors and an entry in this small room!

Thank you for visiting!
Until Next time!

Oh Dolly, you and your hubby did a perfect job on that room. It is so pretty that I bet you look forward to doing the laundry. So calm and serene in there, I love green and love the stripes too. I remember the drawer front. I commented that I knew it was a drawer front, but I don't remember what I thought you were going to do with it, love that look, Char
