Babies, Birthdays and Shopping

Yummy Yummy Ice Cream....
We took the grandbabies out for ice cream..
Our princess had to have PINK ice cream
and Lil guy wanted Chokit.....
Whats your favorite...
PINK or CHOKIT????
:-)

They won't pose like they used to...
camera shy or just plain tired of gramma taking their picture?

The gangs all here... waiting patiently to surprise the birthday girl!
Yep mom was surprised!
It was a 70th birthday to remember!

I think the kids enjoyed the balloons more then the birthday cake!

We even had time to visit the church sale...

Look at these goodies......
Some newer and vintage books...
a silver tray in need of some tlc...
a cuppycake that will get a make-over...
oh and look at that pretty vintage collar!!
Oh La La!!!

All these vintage sewing goodies... I could'nt pass them by!
Don't you just love that cup cake pan?
I can't wait to use it!
Oh yes there were cherry treasures waiting for me!
I have been wanting a sun tea jar but could'nt find a glass one

{I don't do plastic}
imagine how excited I was to find a new glass one strutting cheery red cherries!
Dear hubby gets to use my red thermos when he goes deer hunting! {if he's lucky}
The 2 glass towel bars will go in the kitchen to hold my cherry towels...

The 25cent {yup can you believe it a whole quarter!!} ceiling medallion will go in the hall!

Oh yes yes yes..... I scooped up some PINK treasures too!
Love love love the cotton candy pink cake tin!

Too sweet!
And that lil PEPTO PINK dustpan?
Can you see alil girl helping her momma clean the floor?
I am loving the tye dye ribbon and pink sewing trims...
plus I got 3 boxs of PINK PINK PINK christmas ornies!

And a childs poem book.... with a PINK cover!!!!
Yeah.... it was so much fun shopping!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend too!

Hugz, Dolly

Thanks for stopping by Cozy Cottage and having tea with us today. Hope you'll come back again this week!

Dolly, your grandbabies are so CUTE!!! I have a hard time deciding between pink and chockit ice cream. I love pink because it is pink but I love the TASTE of chockit. Can I have both?

You found lots of wonderful treasures!!! Love the cherry sun tea jug! How perfect for you!!

Hugs,
Amy

Love the pink cake carrier, I have one in yellow like that.

And glass towel bars! What a score. I only have 2 of those, but they were pretty darn hard to find. In fact, I've not seen a single one since I bought mine about 6 years ago.
