omgosh, I just happened to stumble across your blog and saw these hen pics. So colorful! A friend that I painted a rooster for last year has been wanting me to paint a picture of a hen ~ so now I'm inspired to do just that. It's been a while since I've seen any photos of chickens. I also grew up on a farm and they do bring back memories. Thanks for sharing ~ and if I ever do work on my 'hen' ~ I'll send you a copy. I paint real wild roosters, we'll see what I come up with for the hen. :-) gg/illustrator
