Treats for my sweety

Hubby went hunting this evening so I thought I'd make him a treat.
Look at what was waiting on the table for him when he got home!
MMMmmmm... yummy yummy cookies

The house was filled with the aroma of cinnamon and pumpkin!
I found the recipe at Home is where your heart is!
Stop by and say Hi to Monica and join her christmas ornament swap!

1 cup granulated sugar

1 egg

Combine flour ,oats,baking soda,cinnamon,and salt.

mix well.
Alternate additions of dry ingredients and pumpkin ,mixing well after each addition.

They look yummy. Do you think I could put in raisins instead of the chocolate chips? It would be like mini pumpkin breads. I may try this.

Blessings!

So glad you liked them Dolly , I love how the house smells after making them!
Also to all the girls who asked let them no YES raisins can be substituted for the chocolate.

Dolly, thank you so much for that yummy recipe! I bet your house smelled so divine while baking those!

P.s.- I have such problems with the spacing on my blog too! Blogger has a mind of its own..I always go back and edit a gazillion times to get rid of extra spaces etc...

I've had this recipe for years! It came from an old church cookbook. I never thought that pumpkin and chocolate went together, but they are amazing in these cookies. I've always said, "EVERYTHING goes with chocolate".
