Your pictures remind me of my childhood when I lived on the farm. We raised chickens of all kinds when I was growing up. thanks for sharing your pictures with us. Your Missouri Friend
The pink scarf you are making is going to be a beauty, Dolly. I love the pattern you have chosen--really nice texture. Be sure to show us the finish. XO, Lallee

Hi!LOOOOVE the visit! My youngest niece ~9 is home schooled and she raised chickens for her science project last summer. I am going to link your post to them :) Thank you also for helping with the duvet closure question!!! may i ask~ why do you have a test blog? I know why i would...
This post makes me feel guilty that I love to eat chicken. Your chickens are sooooo pretty. That vegetarian dish is looking real good right about now...
omgosh, I just happened to stumble across your blog and saw these hen pics. So colorful! A friend that I painted a rooster for last year has been wanting me to paint a picture of a hen ~ so now I'm inspired to do just that. It's been a while since I've seen any photos of chickens. I also grew up on a farm and they do bring back memories. Thanks for sharing ~ and if I ever do work on my 'hen' ~ I'll send you a copy. I paint real wild roosters, we'll see what I come up with for the hen. :-) gg/illustrator
