While the weather outside is freightful

Baby it's cold outside

The birds will sing us a beautiful song

a piece of cherry pie with your tea?

Our stocking are hung

nibble nibble

while visions of toys dance in our head

birdies sweet songs make us feel warm inside

while snowmen remind us its cold outside

and cherries too

Our Empty Nest

Hubby and I are now empty nesters

Last weekend we moved our baby girl {23} to Wisconnsin
To start her new life!

We drove through the night
so there were not many photo opportunities
but here is what I got!
*The Chicago Skyway toll booth*

The Chicago sky line was beautiful at night!

As we arrived in Wisconnsin
the sun was just starting to rise

Before we left we had all the furniture arranged,
emptied many many boxes, got the cupboards and pantry stocked
and even hung some pictures!
It was a long emotional ride.
It is so hard when the last baby leaves the nest!
Any advice for this lonely mom trying to adjust?

Keeping positive thoughts
and counting on God to keep us strong!
