Makeing Memories

Hello all my bloggy gal pals...
I have not disappeared...
I have not run away...
I have not abandoned ship....
I am here.....
Missing you all!

What's been keeping me you ask??????
My mum has come to stay with us for a week...

YAAAAAAAAY...

Although she lives only 3 hours away we don't get to see each other very often.

I love when she comes to visit.... She always brings goodies too...
a few loaves of her yummy homemade zucchinni bread, and she brings all the ingredients to make a few batches of grammas rice pudding!
Mmm... warm from the oven... its the best!
Although mum has no idea what shabby chic means,
her favorite color is NOT PINK,and she is not into scrap booking, blogging, antique shopping, hunting resale shops or Etsy......
We will be spending the week... sipping tea, shopping,
chatting, shareing stories and looking at old photos,
sight seeing and visiting old friends!
I hope to teach her a new craft or two while she is here!
I will spend my week Making Memories...
What will you be doing?

P.S. anyone waiting on swaps goodies from me...
please forgive me for being late...
God has blessed me with this time with my mum
and I plan to make the best of it!
~Thank you for understanding~
Hugz, Dolly

Dolly,
Sounds like fun.
My mom doesn't do any of my stuff either. She doesn't really get it.
That's ok, we do what they want to do. Have fun.

Dolly, it sounds like a wonderful week! I hope you both have a wonderful time together! Zucchini bread is one of my favorite things. Dont you just love moms cooking? Whenever my mom bakes banana bread, she always makes us a couple loaves and OH is it ever good! We miss you but so glad you are okay and having a good time!

Love and Hugs,
Amy

How fabulous!! You deserve a break and enjoy you mum! Take tons of pix while she is there! So many of us don't have moms anymore, so hug her once for me. We miss you, Dolly, and wait anxiously for your return and wonderfu stories of your visit.
